Indiana has received $164 million in federal stimulus money to build affordable housing projects. That's $50 million more than any of the other states that have received money under this program so far. A number of projects throughout the state will be breaking ground in the next 30-60 days. The program will provide affordable housing for as many as 6,500 families in Indiana.
