Croquet teams dressed in Victorian garb, including the Queen of Hearts swinging a flamingo mallet, will be competing in the 16th annual Wicket World of Croquet on the south lawn of the President Benjamin Harrison home (1230 N. Delaware St.) on Saturday, June 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Two-person teams participate as a way of raising funds to support the Harrison Home’s educational programs, and there’s a silent auction that includes restaurant packages, theater and sporting event tickets. But the public is invited to attend for free. For more information go to http://www.pbhh.org/croquet/Croquest.php.
