18th Annual Spirit & Place Public Conversation: RISK

When: Sun., Nov. 10, 5:30-7 p.m. 2013

Three of Indiana’s nationally-known risk-takers will gather for a conversation with Q&A in this closing event of the 2013 Spirit & Place Festival. They’ll chat about questions such as: How does our culture embrace or repel risk? How do the arts, humanities, religion, business and civic enterprises contribute to a risk-taking culture? What is the best way to explore risk-taking? What “risk-stories” should be celebrated or challenged? Is it fair to conclude that Hoosiers are afraid to take risks? How can we leverage the lessons from past risks to improve community life? Speakers to be announced in September. Presented by Spirit & Place with support from The Scott A. Jones Foundation and the Indianapolis Public Library.
