200 Years of Indiana Art: A Cultural Legacy features works by Indiana artists from 1816 – 2016. The exhibit includes objects from the museum’s permanent collection as well as institutions, artists and collectors from across the country. Early works by important Indiana artists provide a historical perspective. Additional works, including modern and contemporary pieces, illustrate the development of the visual arts in Indiana, showcasing the immense talent and diversity associated with the state.
