Memories of Marchibroda



The FiveThirtyEight has done a decent job picking the NFL playoff winners, and that’s good news for Patriot-haters. They’re forecasting a Carolina-Denver Super Bowl 50.

Ted Marchibroda, former Colts coach and all-around terrific human being, died Saturday at the age of 84. Marchibroda gave Bill Belichick his first NFL gig, and even the Sith Lord himself got choked up remembering his late mentor.


The Pacers have dropped three in a row now, including last night’s road loss to the Nuggets 129-126 and a home stand against DC, 104-118.


It was Blackhawks night at the Indy Fuel’s Saturday night matchup. The Fuel are the ‘Hawks' AA farm club. Bobby Hull was on hand, but brought no mojo for the squad — they lost to Orlando 2-0.


‘Hawks anthem specialist Jim Cornelison opened the Fuel game on Saturday night, too. THIS is how they sing it in Chicago, hockey fans.
