When: Sat., July 12, 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 2014
A bike race, BMX Stunt Shows, beer garden, food trucks, yoga and much more. The Indy Crit is the largest criterium race in the state of Indiana but features much more than a bike race.
The 5th annual Indy Criterium returns to Indianapolis on July 12th for a packed day of racing, from the Mayor's Race to the Handlebar Indy Pedal Pub (Two sixteen passenger bikes will battle it out with a race around University Park at the end of their 2-hour tour) to the Indy Crit itself. Cyclists wishing to participate in the event can sign up here. Registration fees start at as little as $20.
Children wanting to get a taste of the action can sign up for the free kids race starting at 1:35pm - children must bring their own bikes and helmets to participate.
All proceeds from the Indy Criterium benefit Freewheelin' Community Bikes, which uses bicycles to teach kids life skills, leadership and good health habits.
