May 24:
Daredevil invites everyone to get a whiff of brewing a special collaborative beer at their Speedway brewery. Here’s the story from Daredevil spokesperson Shane Pearson: “We were asked by Stone Brewing Company to participate in their Arrogant Bastard Hits the Road in which they are collaborating with a few breweries across the country brew their Arrogant Bastard Ale. Each adoptive brewery is entrusted with the Arrogant Bastard recipe and the one time only batch will be available for on site consumption only at our taproom. The brew date is Tuesday, May 24 and we invite everyone to come in to smell the Liquid Arrogance from the taproom during brew day. Our planned date to tap it is June 24. The beer is Adopted Arrogant Bastard Ale. For those that are not familiar with Arrogant Bastard, it is one of the all time great hoppy beers created by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner at Stone Brewing Company in Escondido, California. We can’t say enough about being entrusted to brew this recipe and bring some Arrogant Bastard Ale to our taproom. ”

Rock Bottom Downtown has 'No Hearted' IPA, an all Centennial Hop IPA. Centennial had a storied origin in 1974 in the State of Washington created through a USDA program for an all-around aromatic and bettering hop with the ability to grow safely in various US climes. It’s a standard choice for a range of styles.

Bier Brewery: Announced their American Craft Beer Week kinship with 50th anniversary of Bob Dylan’s release of “Blonde on Blonde.” Also on tap AM Lager, Formal, Belgian Dubbel and Snakedancer. Newly canned: Chinookalicious American IPA, available at the Taproom.

Broad Ripple Brewpub's GM Billy Hannon reports, “As part of American Craft Beer Week we’re offering two special 20-ounce beers for only $3. They are The Mix, which is half IPA and half Lawnmower; and The ESP, which is half Porter and half ESB. Both are customer based ideas rather than something we came up with ourselves. People who want the [longstanding] IPA/ Lawnmower combo literally say, ‘I’ll just have the mix.’ I came up with the ESB/Porter ‘ESP’ name myself. Feel free to try those or anything else you like the sound of on the beer list.”

Four Fathers’ announced the release of The Fall, “our brand new sour stout with raspberries. This beer was kettle soured and fermented with 100% Brettanomyces, then we added chocolate and a ton of raspberries. It's tart, chocolatey and very raspberry forward. It's been a few months in the making, and it's ready for you to drink. 500mL bottles are $15 each, no limits. You can also enjoy our Thin Red Line or Dr. Terminus from cans here in the taproom at in Valparaiso.”
