(press release)

The Fishers Renaissance Faire is offering $2.00 off the price of any regular adult and child ticket purchased between now and September 12.

"The Fishers Renaissance Faire appreciates that the economy and rising gas prices are forcing families to cut back on vacations and other forms of entertainment in favor of more important things like paying their mortgage and putting food on the table" says Adam Fivush, Chairman of the 2009 Faire. "Our regular ticket price for adults and children is already less than the cost of a movie ticket, and provides for a full day of entertainment that is close to home. Now, we are helping families even more by offering $2 off every ticket when they buy in advance."

The regular price of a ticket to the 2009 Fishers Renaissance Faire is $8 for adults (age 13 and over), $5 for children (age 5 to 12) and FREE for children (age 4 and younger).

The advance ticket price saves $2 off the regular price for every ticket purchased. So, adults (age 13 and over) are $6, children (age 5 to 12) are $3 and children (age 4 and younger) are FREE.

Anyone interested in purchasing advance tickets to the 2009 Fishers Renaissance Faire should visit www.fishersrenfaire.com and either order their tickets electronically, or download the ticket order form and mail their request with payment.

The 5th Annual Fishers Renaissance Faire will occur the first weekend in October — Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2009 — on the grounds of Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers (IN), rain or shine.

The Fishers Renaissance Faire is a 501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising event for the Sister Cities Association of Fishers, Indiana. Proceeds from the Faire help fund cultural exchange and scholarship opportunities for Hamilton Southeastern High School and Fishers High School students.
