In celebration of Banned Books Week and to kick off the Library's Teen Read Week activities, teens are invited to meet Malinda Lo, the author of "Ash," who will discuss the issue of banning young adult books and the adversities she has faced with her novels and characters. This program is presented by IndyPL and the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. This program will begin at 5 p.m. with a "Banned Books Treats Workshop" presented by Gourmet Girlfriends. Malinda Lo will speak at 6 p.m., followed by a book signing at 7:30 p.m.
