Banned Books Week Author Talk with Jacqueline Woodson

When: Thu., Sept. 29, 7-9 p.m. 2016

Join the Vonnegut Library and DePauw University in welcoming a very special Banned Books Week guest: Young People's Poet Laureate and New York Times bestselling author Jacqueline Woodson!

Ms. Woodson is a prolific and celebrated author whose books, including the bestselling Brown Girl Dreaming, have often been banned or challenged. We can't wait to hear her thoughts about censorship, intersectional identity, writing, and more!

Ms. Woodson will be on hand to sign books after the speaking engagement. KVML will have a limited number for sale on site. This event is free and open to the public but RSVP is encouraged
