Locally, this July is also Binkley's Kitchen & Bar First Annual Indiana Craft Beer Month. To celebrate, they've switched all 16-draft lines to Indiana Brews.

Half Moon, Kokomo. Das Ale, a mild, crisp refreshing summer hybrid beer similar to cream ale. Pale ale (American) and Vienna (German) malts provide its golden color and crisp, malty flavor; saaz hops (Chech) are subtly spicy.

Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow in 22 oz. bottles at all Kahn's locations. This complex double India pale ale has an intense citrus and floral hop aroma balanced by a velvety malt body augmented with lactose milk sugar.


Barley Island owner/brewer Jeff Eaton announced the closing in Broad Ripple, saying, "I am looking forward to focusing on Barley Island in Noblesville as the restaurant and off-premise sales have been posting a record year."

New Albanian Brewing Company's long-time brewer Jared Williamson is now part of the Schlafly brewing team in St. Louis. NABC's owner Roger Baylor reports the "temporary assistance of brewer Sam Cruz, late of Bluegrass Brewing Company's Louisville 3rd Street location."
