Best Local Punk Artists

Zero Boys

Another repeat from last year, though this one reaches back even further into the local music scene archives, the Zero Boys have enjoyed a resurgence over the past few years with the release of the entirety of the band's early recordings on Secretly Canadian. Not that they were ever forgotten. Ever since the early '80s, when the band surprised hardcore fans who didn't think anything decent could come out of a sleepy Midwestern town, the Zero Boys have remained a favorite of a far-flung fanbase, including some locals who have gotten the best chance to see the band's periodic shows and hear new studio albums released since the band's initial reunion in the early '90s.
