Center for Inquiry's Indy Skeptics On The Fringe Weekend

When: Aug. 26-28 2011

Ticket prices are $5 per event (except for Skeptics in the Pub and Coffee and Conversation) or $25 for the whole weekend. Extra donations accepted. All profit will go to Center for Inquiry-Indiana. All programs will be at CFI-Indiana except the Ghost Tour and Skeptics in the Pub.

Medical Misdemeanors and Scientific Shenanigans

Craig Gosling, Matt Barron and Eric McCutchan present an informative discussion on the strange and sometimes misleading world of medical woo. Learn about Homeopathy, Chiropractic, and other forms of medical misinterpretation.

This one's for the kids and everyone else. Join Dave Terret as he teaches us how to make ice cream with salt and discusses other principles of science. Fun for everyone, and you get to eat your own ice cream creation! 

Ghosts Busted!

Ghosts Busted is Indy's first Skeptical ghost tour. Join your guide, Serra Head, as she traverses the old streets of this historic city. The myths will be exposed and the spirits laid to rest. Great for history buffs and amateur investigators alike! This is a walking tour so bring comfy shoes and plenty of water.

Einstein on the Edge

Albert Einstein comes back from "the other side" to answer rumors that he was a believer. He replies in a one on one interview with a freethinking reporter. This presentation uses actual quotations from the great scientist. CFI member Matt Barron plays the role of Einstein and Craig Gosling is the interviewer.
