Co-Owners, Mia Lee Roberts and Lynn Burger, are selling their portion of the business to long-time CSz Indianapolis contracted players, Todd Kenworthy and Rick Randjelovic, along with Jessica Kenworthy. Current co-owner, Edward Trout, will continue his position as Artistic Director and co-owner of CSz Indianapolis.
“I am very excited about the sale and even more excited about the future of ComedySportz Indianapolis,” said Roberts. “I am extremely proud of what Ed, Lynn and I have created, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for CSz Indianapolis.”
Randjelovic, who has performed for almost 15 years with ComedySportz Indianapolis stated, “I'm honored to now be a part of the new ownership team. I am looking forward to continuing to provide award-winning comedy for all ages and helping to grow the improv community in Indianapolis.”
“ComedySportz has been a huge part of my life for 23 years. I feel very fortunate to be able to pass the reins to such great people as Todd, Jessica and Rick,” said Lynn Burger.
Todd Kenworthy, who is taking on this new endeavor with his wife, Jessica, commented, “For the past 23 years Mia, Lynn, and Ed have built a business in Indianapolis that provides solid and consistent comedy for everyone. It's an honor and a privilege to be able to step in as a new owner to continue, and build, on to the success that they have established.”
“I am proud of the hard work, dedication and talent that Mia and Lynn have given to the dream and success of ComedySportz, on something we started together,” Trout stated. “Today we are looking forward to a new partnership with the same hard work, dedication and talent.”
The transition of ownership begins the week of July 4th.
