Dawn and Hawkes w/The Blue Eyed Bettys

When: Fri., Nov. 21, 9 p.m. 2014

Austin based indie-folk-americana duo Dawn and Hawkes first appeared in front of a large audience at the Kerrville Folk Festival, where Dawn was awarded as a finalist in the New Folk competition for emerging songwriters. Within a month, they had recorded and released their self-produced EP, Golden Heart, featuring signature harmonies and an indie-folk sound influenced by Americana, country-rock, and classic Beatlesque-pop.

The Blue Eyed Bettys delight with their folky-bluegrass sound. But what always seems to grab audiences immediately are their powerful vocals in three part harmony. All actors by trade, The Blue Eyed Bettys met while doing a new play together at the Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL.

Price: $10 advance, $15 doors
