Dr. Carol Lee: The Urgencies of Community Control in the Education of African American Students

Kheprw Institute in collaboration with IUPUI's Urban Education Studies Doctoral Program is excited to host Dr. Carol Lee, nationally eminent scholar, whose work focuses on the education of Black students and who is the founder of four African-centered schools. She will give a talk on “The Urgencies of Community Control in the Education of African American Students.” She will also dialogue with the audience. This is a special opportunity to hear and talk with one of the most respected scholars of the education of Black children in the U.S. Free Dinner will be Served.
