When: Sat., Dec. 7, 10 a.m. 2013
We will examine the craft tools from other genres—plot, scene writing, dialogue, and character development—that memoirists use to create readable stories within the boundaries of real past events, and we’ll discuss how those events unique to us can generate meaningful emotional substance in a wide audience. The workshop will include seminar type presentations, writing exercises, and participant interaction. Bring a sack lunch and an appetite for the written word.
Price: $95 non-members, $65 members, $55 student/teacher/senior members
