Fall 2013 Theatre Classes

When: Sundays. Continues through Nov. 10 2013

Acting Up Productions has hired Ball State graduate Katie Rae to teach acting classes for children ages 4-17 beginning September 22, 2013 at the new Lawrence location in the Dance Magic Performing Arts Center, near 56th and Pendleton Pike.

AUP’s children’s classes are an introduction to the dramatic arts and offered to any child with little or no experience in the theatre arts. AUP classes will teach children basic acting skills, self-esteem, confidence, creative thinking skills, speaking skills and leadership skills. Classes are 8-week 1-hour classes. All classes will be held on Sunday afternoon.

The age groups are:
AUPee-Wees (ages 4-5 years from 1-2 pm)
Acting Out Kids (ages 6-8 years from 2:30-3:30 pm)
Acting Up Kids (ages 9-12 years from 4-5 pm)
AUPTeens (ages 13-17 years from 5:30-6:30 pm)

Each class will hold a short recital for parents at the end of the 8-week session. Registration is open now.
