It was a "special night" for the Indiana Fever and their head coach Lin Dunn Wednesday. Not only did the Fever get a comeback win against the Seattle Storm, but they got to watch their head coach be honored before the game in preparation of her induction into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.
The Storm lead the game through the first three quarters, but watched the Fever dominate the fourth to get a 76-68 win. Five Fever players finished with double digit point totals led by Eriana Larkins who had 17.
"Coach Dunn has done a lot for basketball over the years, and it's good to give her a win on a night she was recognized," said Larkins.
However, it wasn't all celebration for the Fever as point guard Briann January left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. The Fever have already been without star Tamika Catchings all season with a back injury.
"We're a different team than we've been in the past we got a lot of young players," said Dunn. "We're having to find other people to fill in and I think it's going to be that type of a season."
