Seattle led the game going into halftime 32-28 after outscoring Indiana in each of the first two quarters. The Fever took 56-55 lead after Layshia Clarendon's bank shot with 8:43 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Fever ran the table the rest of the way outscoring the Storm 25-15 in the fourth quarter, including a 13-6 run over the final four minutes that helped give Indiana the nine-point victory.
All-Star Tamika Catchings finished the game with 16 points giving her 6,454 for her career, enough to put her third on the WNBA all-time scoring list. Catchings moved two points beyond two-time WNBA Champion Katie Smith.
Thursday night's victory puts the Fever at 2-1 on their Western Conference road trip with their next game coming against the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday night.
