When: Fri., April 6, 6 p.m. 2012
The Columbus Area Arts Council presents Indiana Bank & Trust Company’s First Fridays for Families production of The Jungle Book by Dancers Studio on April 6 at 6pm in The Commons. The program is free.
Rudyard Kipling’s classic story is a thrilling, adventure-filled journey with the boy Mowgli as he makes his way to the village with Bagheera, the wise panther. Along the way he meets jazzy King Louie, the hypnotic snake Kaa and the lovable happy-go-lucky bear Baloo who teaches Mowgli “The Bare Necessities” of life and the true meaning of friendship.
“We’re always happy to bring a Dancers Studio production to the First Fridays audience,” said Karen Shrode, executive director of the Arts Council. “And this is such a delightful story, it’s a great way to wrap up the final program for the season.”
