Over 35 high school robotics teams, with student-designed, 6ft tall & 120lb robots, will face-off at Lawrence North High School on February 28th & March 1st. These students will compete in the “varsity sport of the mind” at the inaugural FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Indianapolis District Event.
Teams will be playing the 2015 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) game, Recycle Rush. In this recycling-themed game, two alliances with three robots score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping stacks with recycling containers, and properly “disposing” of pool noodles, representing litter. Students designed, built, and programed their robots in six weeks, under Each team at the event will be competing for a chance to advance to the IndianaFIRST District Championship Warren Central High School on April 2nd - 3rd.
