Five local bands I've seen in the last 24 hours

Here's a quick rundown of the local music I've seen in the last 24 hours, via my cat pic-filled Instagram.

Perfect Teeth is a newbie Bloomington group who has a few singles available here. They headlined a show at Bloomington's Bishop last night.

Heather French Henry is revving up their show schedule. Listen to their set at Indy CD and Vinyl at MFT's monthly showcase here.

Found Drowned opened up last night's show at the Bishop; the surf punk trio played their set on the floor.

Slates, playing their third show as a group, is a side project of Broken Light's Brent Smith. They opened for New Orleans' Native American and Kentucky Nightmare at Joyful Noise on Monday night.

Kentucky Nightmare at Joyful Noise, making their return to the stage after a long hiatus. Listen to their full-length Take Her Favour at the link.

And, as a bonus, a Greek hammer dulcimer player I saw at the base of the Acropolis two weeks ago.
