When: Sat., Sept. 24, 12-5 p.m. 2011
Art, science, and nature come together for this fun and educational afternoon of activities for the IMA exhibition FLOW: Can you see the River?. Join artist Mary Miss at 100 Acres to learn about the importance of our waterways and our natural environment. Create handmade paper from materials found in the park, and enjoy the interpretive dance of the Susurrus Dance Company as they capture the movement and sounds of water. On board the BioBus, you will learn about local water-dwelling organisms. The Indianapolis Zoo will be on hand with their Conservation Station, teaching ways to appreciate and protect our furry friends. All ages welcome!
