When: Fri., Oct. 31, 7:30-10 p.m. 2014
Catch The Black Pirate in the Grand Hall at Indiana Landmarks Center, with spooky live organ accompaniment and adult beverages. Filmed in early Technicolor in 1926, The Black Pirate stars Douglas Fairbanks as a young man seeking revenge by joining the pirate band responsible for his father’s death. Some consider Fairbanks to be the first action movie star, and in The Black Pirate he demonstrates his athletic ability in a number of precarious stunt sequences. Wear your costume and win some door prizes (naturally, a separate crown will be given away for best pirate).
Price: $10 member, $12 non-member
