Fringe review: Don't u luv me?...

Don't u luv me?...

A believable script, performed believably, shows how easily we allow ourselves to become victimized and how hard it is to break the cycle of abusive behavior. Pointed messages are imbedded within a series of fast-paced synoptic events: recognizing, seeking and giving help, preventing and overcoming abusive behaviors and becoming a victim. Though aimed directly at a tween/teen audience, adults should be attending — and that's a word expanded to "paying attention to what is happening around us." Part of a local and national movement to draw attention to texting as yet another format for abuse, this play subliminally illustrates making smart choices.
