Theatre on the Square: Main Stage. IndyKLEZ is a capable local sextet that plays its interpretations of "world music, Broadway and Jewish soul music." But rather than use its first foray with the Fringe to craft a show with a meaningful beginning, middle and end, the group has opted to throw a party for its fans instead. There is little to no stagecraft – repeated reliance on music stand notes was particularly off-putting and the "friends" (on Saturday, a Cantor and a couple of kids playing violin and accordion) did little to enhance the show's haphazard approach to showmanship.
