From Indianapolis to Bangladesh

When: Sun., Nov. 9, 2-4 p.m. 2014

When East Pakistan became Bangladesh in 1971, the Bihari people, an ethnic minority that had already been displaced by Partition in 1947, were more or less left behind. The Indy-based non-profit OBAT Helpers is dedicated to supporting those Biharis stranded in camps and will tell its story through a documentary (Journey to Change), discussion and photo exhibition.
