Halloween review: Indiana Fear Farm

Indiana Fear Farm
  • Indiana Fear Farm

The family run Fear Farm offers a country setting that adds suspense to its two attractions. The Slaughter Barn experience is short and sweet with excellent design elements including murals and unique touches to variously themed rooms. However, a lack of spacing made it difficult for actors to reset for scares between groups.

The Haunted Hayride is a quaint jaunt through backwoods with creative pyrotechnics and aerial scares. The experience is a cozy chance to enjoy a night sky full of stars and cuddle-up to friends for some campy thrills. What the actors lacked in experience they made up for in enthusiasm, as each worked the haunt as a fund-raiser for various community organizations.
