When: Thu., May 10 2012

The Indianapolis Museum of Art will open newly-redesigned galleries of African art on May 10, 2012, with a fresh approach to the display of more than 300 objects from the collection. Curated by Elizabeth Morton, adjunct curator, art of Africa, the South Pacific and the Americas, the updated installation housed on the third floor of the Wood Pavilion showcases the strengths in what is regarded as of the nation’s top African collections.
