IMA Summer Nights Film Series: Labyrinth

What better way to take advantage of a gorgeous summer night than at an outdoor movie at the Indianapolis Museum of Art? The IMA’s Annual Summer Nights Film Series returns to Friday nights this summer, starting June 3 and ending Aug. 26. The screenings take place in the amphitheater, or, in the case of inclement weather, at The Toby. As the series winds down, movie-goers will be treated to a screening of Labyrinth on August 19. After wishing her half-brother Toby away to the Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie), Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) tries desperately to save him. Her only chance at rescuing her brother is to complete King Jareth's labyrinth within 13 hours, otherwise, Toby will be his forever. Released 1986, directed by J. Henson. Runs 101 minutes. Rated PG. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., screening begins at 9 p.m.
