“Are you out of your gourd?” Do you even know what gourds are? They’re the inedible cousins of the squash family. Almost anything you can do to paper, canvas, wood, or pottery we can do to gourds: draw, paint, calligraphy, cut, engrave, mold, weave, faux finish. The IGS State Show displays and sells items from gorgeous art to fun craft. Native American, Western, African, Oriental, modern or holiday designs -- we do it all.
Preregister for competitions & workshops at www.indianagourdsociety.org. Gourd gurus answer questions, sell seeds or seedlings, and demo techniques using tiny tools.
Price: $5 adults, $3 seniors, free if under 15
