There’s no better way to see a silent film than in the company of a full orchestra. Well, a giant pipe organ will do the trick too, but let’s stick with the program, for the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra is gearing up for its annual silent film night at the IMA. This time around, the film is 1924’s Peter Pan, and the ICO will perform a Philip Carli’s full orchestral score, written in the mid-’90s to accompany the debut of a new restoration of the film, which was long believed lost. Eric Grayson will man the projector, working with a 35mm print with period tints.
