Crown Liquors sent a special notice about what’s new at their stores: “Indianapolis’s own Central State [Brewing] finally has beer in cans. This “Rustic Blonde Ale” is 100% brett fermented and offers tons of flavors, but a low ABV; making it tasty and sessionable.”

Crown also is featuring Taxman 4-packs: Apropos Apricot Saison, Deduction Dubbel, and Exemption Tripel.

Oaken Barrel’s new seasonal beer is Nitro Irish Red Ale on tap.  “This dark copperish red ale is infused with nitrogen gas to give its creamy head and smooth taste of traditional Irish Ale,” reads the description.

Head brewer Shawn Byrnes announced The RAM’s current seasonals are Maibock Spring Bier and Great Scots Scottish Ale. “On Top of Mt. Simcoe IPA is coming soon, offering an earthy, citrus, pine aroma and profile.”

Thr3e Wise Men Head brewer Keely Tomlinson released Ba Barracks Barleywine and Pity the Fool’s Knob Creek Barrel Aged Barleywine. “The complete fruity malt character of the English barley wine serves as a base layer of flavor for the addition of oak, vanilla and bourbon from our hand selected Knob Creek bourbon barrels.”

Look for the story about BRBP’s For the Love of Rye in a separate posting.

Half Moon’s Citra Love IPA is an IPA brewed with the aromatic and flavorful Citra variety of hops.  Brewer John Templet says, “The beer has a nice caramel malt backbone with a good mouthfeel.  The Citra hops lend a bouquet of tropical and citrus fruit aroma and flavor.”
