IndyFringe is now accepting submissions for both the popular Diva Fest as well as the uber-popular IndyFringe Fest.
Yep, IndyFringe 2011 is already in the works and applications for it are up on their site (www.indyfringe.org) ready to be filled. If you are going to apply to be in the show, you’d better hurry. Like just about anything and everything, except for the world wide web, space is limited. Applications run $550 and are signed for a minimum of 6 performances. Deadline is officially next March 1, but don’t wait around — slots fill up fast!
DivaFest features female playwrights and last year’s Fest was a blow-out, from an audience and critical perspective. If you are a female writer and don’t mind be tagged with a moniker of “diva” then go to the Fringe site and figure out how to sign up. There are opportunities for ten minute plays and one-hour shows. Deadline is Jan. 15.
