Written + Spoken Word, Film + TV

Josephine Decker

When: Fri., Oct. 3, 3 p.m. 2014

Decker won’t be giving a typical lecture when she visits IU Cinema. Instead she’ll unroll a deteriorated fragment of The Battleship Potemkin, and with the help of Russell Sheaffer, re-edit it into a film to be projected in 16mm at the end of a 70-minute program. Decker’s features will screen Oct. 2: Thou Wast Mild and Lovely at 6:30 p.m. and Butter on the Latch at 9:30 p.m.

Price: $3 films, lecture free
