When: Fri., May 15, 3 p.m. 2015
Produced by PBS’ American Experience and directed by Rory Kennedy, Last Days in Vietnam chronicles the chaotic final days of controversial war, telling the compelling story of bravery and resilience on the part of the South Vietnamese who escaped, and the U.S. military personnel who, in many cases, disobeyed orders in an effort to help evacuate people. After the film, Kennedy will join the audience for a discussion via Skype. The officer in charge on the ground at Saigon, Colonel Stuart Herrington will speak alongside him. And accomplished wood artist, Binh Pho, who is featured in the documentary, will be in attendance and providing comments as well.
