Late Night in Genealogy Library

When: Fri., Aug. 26, 6 p.m.-12 a.m. 2011

Take advantage of extended hours at the Johnson County Museum’s genealogy library on Friday, August 26th from 6:00 pm to midnight. The library offers an extensive collection of official Johnson County records, family records and photographs, and free access to Ancestry.com. Newcomers can learn how to start their research when they take a basic library tour at 6:30. At 8:00 pm enjoy a special birthday themed presentation from genealogy librarian Linda Talley. The genealogy library is located on the ground floor of the Johnson County Museum, located at 135 North Main Street in Franklin. The event is free and open to the public.
