We've had this on our radar for a while, but we're finally sharing: the first inaugural Limestone Comedy Fest is poised to be the most exciting Hoosier event in the summer of 2013. An all-star lineup of comedians you'll know from standup specials, TV, podcasts, This American Life, movies and more in the heart of Bloomington for a super affordable price? We're onboard, and the entire lineup hasn't even been announced yet!

Their press release, out this morning:

Headlining the festival will be Tig Notaro (The Sarah Silverman Program, Live -2012's top selling comedy album), Maria Bamford (Comedians of Comedy, the first female comic to have two Comedy Central half-hour specials) and Doug Benson (Super-High Me, Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Also appearing will be Jackie Kashian (Last Comic Standing), Graham Elwood (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson), Al Jackson (BBC America), John Roy (Conan), Stewart Huff (Aspen Laff Fest "Best of the Fest"), Geoff Tate (Bob & Tom) and 40 of the nation's best up and coming comics. There will be live recordings of the comedy podcasts The Dork Forest, Dining With Doug & Karen, Comedy Film Nerds and The Unbelievable Podcast, as well as a free family-friendly Saturday matinee show.
