Come learn about Local Currencies and help shape a currency for Central Indiana.
Rhonda Baird, co-founder of the Bloomington Community Exchange, will start the evening with a talk about local currencies. Learn about how the form of your money can affect your local economy and community. Then participate in a discussion of what you feel a Central Indiana Currency should help accomplish. Your feedback will guide the efforts of a group currently working toward creating a vibrant local currency.
This event is in cooperation with Innovate Indy, a program of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center and Public Allies, which organizes forums for neighbors from across the city to share their ideas for city improvement and connect with other passionate people to take action.
