For a town that has always been music oriented, Nashville didn't have the privilege of this wonderful symphony until around 1946. Before then, its roots were composed of just a few musicians that got together to jam in true Nashville style. Substitute a hollow-bodied six-string for a classical acoustic, and switch out the fiddle for a violin, and the Nashville Symphony was born. Led by the charismatic Giancarlo Guerrero, this Grammy Award-winning group has earned a growing international reputation for its lustrous recordings and innovative performances.
