You know him as the macho Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation. You know her as the crass Karen from Will and Grace. Together they cannot be stopped! We didn’t blame them when they canceled this show in response to RFRA. But we’re glad they’re back on board! Comedy power-couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are taking audiences back to another politically-fueled time — the summer of 1969. In Summer of 69: No Apostrophe, they are “yanking the britches right off of their marriage, exposing the salacious details of their fiery union for all the world to enjoy, featuring songs, heavy ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion.”
Fighting RFRA in an even stronger way than they did with their cancellation, Offerman and Mullally are donating all proceeds from the show to the Human Rights Campaign.
What’s funny is the fact that this show is happening on the same night in the same place as the Marilyn Manson concert. Talk about the light and dark sides of entertainment!
