#NUVOpop: Invincible Iron Man!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a safe weekend and were able to vote and catch up on comics! This week is a slower week, so not too many new titles out.

From DC, there's a new series featuring a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman Adventures! It's sure to be a blast. There's also a new vigilante in Gotham City, so be sure to pick up the first issue of Mother Panic this week.

On the Marvel side of things, there's a new Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows series (you might remember it from the Secret Wars mini series of 2015). Basically, fighting crime is a family affair; Peter Parker, his wife Mary Jane and their daughter, Annie, are all costumed spider-themed superheroes! There's also a new love story about Wakanda in the new series Black Panther: World of Wakanda, and the newest Iron-person soars into action in Invincible Iron Man #1.

As for the rest, we have a new WWE comic for you wrestling fans! There's also a new Dark Souls comic and a new Assassin's Creed out this week (the movie is only a month away after all).

The Invincible Iron Man
(W) Brian Michael Bendis (A) Stefano Caselli

Riri Williams is a genius, and that's not an exaggeration. Ever since she burst onto the scene in Invincible Ironman #10, she's been giving Tony Stark a run for his money. Now, after the events of Civil War 2, Tony is out of the picture and the world still needs Iron Man. Riri is anxious to prove to the world that she is the hero they deserve and need right now. But Iron Man has some pretty big shoes that need filling...

Mother Panic
(W) Jody Houser (A) Tommy Lee Edwards

Violet Paige is an heiress and a problem child. She's had a pretty traumatic childhood and now she's got a bad attitude and an even worse temper. Displeased with the way things are, she decides to change. Now as the vigilante Mother Panic, she is exacting vengeance upon those who have wronged her!

(W) Steve Orlando (A/CA) Jakub Rebelka

Every seven years, Earth and the world, Ektae, overlap! Ektae is a world where magic isn't a myth; it's real! And every seven years, that world brings over new magic and new ideas. Jordan Molossus is a man born between both worlds, and he was also rejected by both worlds. After the death of his parents, he wants to bring their ashes over to Ektae and he's willing to leave everything behind to do so.

The Mummy
(W) Peter Milligan (A) Ronilson Freire

The Sect of Anubis has kept themselves alive for over 2000 years by keeping an Egyptian High Priestess captive in the afterlife. For one night, every 30 years, the Sect performs a ritual that requires a human vessel to house the spirit of Nebetah so that they can kill her and drink her blood, thus making them immortal. But this time, they chose the wrong vessel...

Violent Love
(W) Frank J. Barbiere (A) Victor Santos

This is a story of boy meets girl; it's also a love story! Daisy Jane and Rock Bradley were the most famous bank robbers of their era. And then they fell in love and everything got really messed up. It's a new romantic crime caper full of action and all that good stuff!

That's all for this week! Next week... take a walk on the dark side with Thanos! Evil has been unleashed.
