The Indiana Medical History Museum will celebrate Obscura Day with a presentation of strange and curious medical artifacts. Obscura Day is a single day designed to celebrate the world’s most curious and awe-inspiring places. The Indiana Medical History Museum is housed in the old pathology building for the former Central State Hospital for the Insane. The presentation will include Civil War-era amputation kits, human remains, quack medicines, and an electroshock machine.
