The Indiana Pacers will be looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead on the defending champs in game two of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday.
The Pacers had one of their best playoff performances as a team in game one, despite the absence of forward Evan Turner who missed the game with strep throat.
All five starters scored in double figures, and the team got key contributions from C.J. Wastson who scored 11 points off the bench.
Two of Miami's Big Three played well with LeBron James and Dwayne Wade both shot over 60 percent and combined for 52 point. Chris Bosh struggled to score with Roy Hibbert in paint. Bosh finished with only 9 points and 2 rebounds. In his three previous playoff runs with the Heat Bosh has averaged almost 15 points per game.
A 2-0 lead would greatly increase the chances of the Pacers reaching the NBA finals. According to Forbes only 15 teams have overcome a 2-0 deficit since the seven-game playoff format implemented.
