Paul Kane's "Human Touch" Opening Reception

When: Fri., Oct. 3, 5-8 p.m. 2014

During October, Paul Kane will be showing recent paintings at The Venue art gallery in Bloomington, Indiana. The show is called Human Touch. The opening reception is Oct. 3 from 5-8 p.m.

Human Touch is a show that addresses touch in various ways. Kane's paintings are almost sculptural in their texture. When working abstractly, Kane's paintings explore the importance of touching and not touching to forms like shapes and lines. In his more figurative paintings, where human beings touch, they start to forge relationships and communities.
