Acclaimed singer, composer and instrumentalist Paulo Padilha and his group will perform their blend of Brazilian urban swing at Hanover College March 14 at the Lynn Center for the Fine Arts.

Known as a clever lyricist with a mischievous sense of humor, Paulo Padilha’s songs take interest in everything from mother-in-law as muse to philosophic ramblings on art, while his musical style contains elements of samba, pop, reggae and rock. Padilha’s latest CD, Na Lojinha de Um Real Eu Me Sinto Milionário, (In the Dollar Store, I Feel Like a Millionaire), released in 2014, looks at everyday life in Sao Paulo.
