Set along the historic White River and Broad Ripple Park, ROC & ROW stands for Reconnecting to Our Communities by Reconnecting to Our Waterways and aims to inspire its visitors to bring their family fun back to the river. And with live music, food & drinks, yoga, local vendors, and more this fest is as much about end-of-summer fun as it is about its important and holistic mission.
The live music stage will feature performances of reggae, rock and world-beat music by The Ark Band, Hero Jr., 3:1 & Friends (Three to One), Sugar Moon Rabbit, Broken Growlers, and Ruditoonz. Other activities include child and adult yoga sessions from The Yoga Studio and a slackline yoga workshop by INDYBalance/Midwest Yoga Slackliners (Heather T. Leo & Will Baker). Indy Holistic Hub will host a wellness fair and Indy Urban Flea will host a vendor market and non-profit information alley. There will also be food and a beer garden on site.
Proceeds from donations will benefit the Carl G. Fisher Society in their mission to educate the community to envision the White River as a recreational and visually appealing natural resource.
