Rooted: sculpture inspired by nature, place & environment

When: Mondays-Fridays, 1 p.m. Continues through Nov. 22 2013

"Rooted" addresses themes of nature and human interaction to landscape and environment, seeking to connect human activity within nature. Be it through the use of found objects, natural mediums or organic forms, or applying concepts that address nature’s presence in contemporary life, place and local environment. All the artists are Indianapolis-based in order to show what is going on in the field of sculpture locally; therefore the work is “Rooted” in our very own landscape of Midwestern existence. Gallery hours: Monday thru Friday 1-5pm. First Friday Reception Nov. 1, 5-9pm
