The Russ Dellen Memorial Loop (Dellen Loop) has been created in honor of one of Indy’s very generous supporters of local events and charities. Mr. Dellen was a genuine motorcycle enthusiast and helped organize many rides throughout the city. arley-Davidson of Indianapolis on the northside of Indy and The Longacre Bar & Grill on the south side are each hosting onsite registration with escorted satellite rides to the fairgrounds. The Indianapolis Police Department has worked with the Dellen Organization for the past 15 years, and has once again graciously agreed to provide escorts for the satellite and Dellen Loop annual rides. The Dellen Loop is extremely proud to announce that the ride will be led this year by the two “Project 911 Indianapolis” beams from the World Trade Center (http://project911indianapolis.org). This is the last public appearance before the 22 foot steel beams are permanently displayed at 421 West Ohio Street (near the White River Canal. All proceeds from the Russ Dellen Memorial Loop will benefit Fairbanks Hospital, Special Olympics Indiana, Rock For The Cure Foundation and St. Mary’s Child Center.
